Florida SBDC Network’s Florida Lenders’ Conference
To Take Place in Naples June 5-7, 2005

Bankers, non-bank lenders and more than 130 professional business analysts and trainers from SBDCs around the state of Florida are meeting in Naples, June 5-7, 2005 for the Florida SBDC Network’s Florida Lenders’ Conference.

Hosted by the Florida SBDC Network State Director’s Office and its 31 statewide centers, the conference features: keynote addresses by Charles Ou of the US SBA's Office of Advocacy on Small Business Finance in the 21st Century and Dr. Henry Fishkind of Fishkind & Associates on Florida's Economic Outlook; Lenders' Recognition Luncheon; Welcome Address by Nuby Fowler, SBA Administrator, Region IV; and Concurrent Sessions on 504 Loan Issues, Loan Closing Challenges, Leveraging the FSBDCN Portfolio of Services, SBA Lending Basics, Inside the Loan Committee, Disaster Bridge Loans, Loan Servicing & Liquidation, 7(a) Updates on 7(a) Program Trends, and Secondary Market Issues.

Florida lenders and SBDC professionals will come together to network, interact on a personal/professional level, share experiences in the lending field, learn more about SBA’s loan guaranty program and explore the many mutually beneficial services of the SBDC.
